Webinar: The Changing Dynamics of Student Recruitment Agencies in China During and After COVID
Date & Time: | Wednesday, April 21st Beijing time 11 pm Thursday, April 22nd Beijing time 1 pm |
Topic: | The Changing Students Recruiting Agency Dynamic in China During and After COVID |
This webinar will present the findings of BONARD’s survey on preferences and decision-making factors among recruitment agencies when working with institutions in China. The presenter will share on-the-ground insights and recommendations for educators to rejuvenate their presence when returning to China and recover partnerships and recruitment efforts in a post-COVID era. Preferences in study destinations are constantly changing, now more so than ever. Choices for first-year abroad programs are shifting, some temporarily, others permanently. Beijing and Shanghai, the top origin cities of outbound students, are losing ground to other new and emerging Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. The commercial sector of international education is also undergoing change. These ongoing changes raise the question: how should educators navigate and approach student recruitment in China in 2021? If your institution recruits Chinese students through agency partners or is considering doing so, this is a must-see webinar to help you hone your 2021 China recruitment strategy. | |
