University partnerships included in China-Ireland trade deal
Trade and investment agreements signed as part of Irish President Michael Higgins’s visit to China this month included provisions for a partnership between the Shandong Academy of Sciences, Jindao Industrial Corporation and Irish firm MicroGen Biotech to increase the environmental sustainability of China’s Shengli Oilfield. The agreements also created a new student exchange program between the University of Limerick, Tianjin Foreign Studies University and Hebei University of Technology.
