University of Warwick to establish cancer research partnership with Sun Yat-sen University

The University of Warwick and the Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center have signed an MoU to collaboratively carry out research in cancer-related care with special focus on training and research to co-develop anti-cancer treatments. The main areas of research will include nursing, digital pathology, anti-cancer drug development and systems biology and precision medicine. The MoU also fosters personnel exchange between China and UK with senior Sun Yat-sen University oncology professionals having the opportunity to train at the University of Warwick, at the University Hospital Coventry and at Warwickshire.
