University of Rennes 1 Establishes Joint Post-Graduate Institute
After nearly 30 years of collaboration, France’s University of Rennes 1 and China’s Southeastern University have established the Southeastern University-Rennes Post-Graduate Institute. The collaboration history between the two universities began in 1989, and by 2006 a Sino-French Bio Research Centre had been established.
The new post-graduate institute will extend collaboration from the current fields of Computer Science, Electronics, Economics, and Management to include Public Health and Chemical Engineering. According to the MoE, there are a total of 11 joint Sino-French institutes spread across Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Wuhan, and Chongqing.
