University of Birmingham to offer Beijing Jiaotong University Students Engineering Master’s Degrees

The University of Birmingham has signed an agreement with Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) which will allow Chinese engineering students to pursue an Engineering Master’s Degree at the University of Birmingham. Under the agreement, Chinese students will attend the fourth and final year of their engineering studies at the University of Birmingham pursuing a Master’s degree. The agreement is the first step towards establishing a Sino-UK Rail Research Centre. Such a centre will focus on engineering to further enhance joint cooperation in the field of rail traffic control and security.
