Sino-foreign Branch Campus Union Established To Advise Government

Earlier this month, six Sino-foreign universities (branch campuses) joined together to form the Sino-foreign Cooperative University Union – the first of its kind in mainland China. The six member universities include: Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), the University of Nottingham Ningbo, New York University Shanghai, Duke Kunshan University, Wenzhou-Kean University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong Shenzhen. The union was established to influence reform and the development of higher education in China, explore issues of concern common to Sino-foreign branch campuses in China and to share experiences and best practices.
