China Higher EdShanghai Jiao Tong University Adopts Online Courses
Shanghai Jiao Tong University is the latest Chinese university to adopt online learning, providing access to two courses: The Journey of Mathematics and Traditional Chinese Medicine and Culture. This move follows in the steps of Fudan University – also a member of the US-based website Coursera. In May earlier this year, Tsinghua and Peking universities joined edX – an online education platform established by MIT and Harvard University.
