Peking University Sets Up Campus in Oxford

Peking University’s HSBC School of Business has spent RMB75m (USD11m) to purchase a 19th Century manor house in Oxford in order to open its own campus in 2018. The HSBC School of Business is an independent (private) institute under Peking University. Established in Shenzhen, the institute became the HSBC School after receiving HSBC’s RMB150m donation in 2008.
This campus will begin student recruitment in 2018, and in April Peking University will hold the opening ceremony to coincide with their 120 year anniversary. The program aims to recruit international students and offer programs with “Chinese elements” such as Chinese Economy, Financial Market and Business Management.
