Online VET Provider Receives Substantial Investment

Online careers education provider UniCareer recently completed its “C Round” of investment of RMB 200 million (USD 32 billion), which was led by LiePin (HR recruitment platform that completed its “D Round” of investment of USD 100 million in 2016) and Oriental Fortune Capital (OFC) (Shenzhen based investment firm), and followed by New Oriental and Kunzhong Capital.

UniCareer has 540,000 registered university students and generates a half-year revenue of approximately RMB 50 million. It has built a number of joint courses with a range of well-known organisations, including Alibaba, Fushunand Hainan Airlines, and has created a backend recording system for students’ information to be passed to enterprises for future recruitment purposes.
