NYU Shanghai Campus’ First Graduating Class
NYU Shanghai, the “first Sino-American joint university” authorized under Chinese law, will host its first graduation ceremony next year for its inaugural class of 300 students (half Chinese, half international) who started their 4-year degrees in 2013. NYU Shanghai fosters multicultural education via classes taught entirely in English. Students are required to spend at least one semester abroad (at another NYU campus), and Chinese students are paired with non-Chinese roommates to simulate the experience of studying abroad.
