MoE Joint Programs/Institutes Update

The MoE recently announced updates to its JSJ listing (approvals of joint programs/institutions). Only 2 new undergraduate joint programs, 7 post-graduate joint programs and 4 joint institutes were approved, which is a much smaller batch than last year (30+ approvals). Despite the limited number of of new approvals, it is very interesting to see such a (relatively) large number of joint institutes included. This year’s new joint programs’ overseas partners were from Germany, France, the USA, the UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada, Singapore and Russia and covered the fields of Language, Arts, Finance, Engineering and Management. The joint institutes were established in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shaanxi and Heilongjiang with partners from France, Australia and Russia.
