MIT to Open a Supply Chain Academy Centre in Ningbo

The first Chinese Supply Chain Academy, an independent, non-profit education and research institute jointly created by the Ningbo Municipal Education Bureau, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Ningbo Innovation Institute of China, will be officially launched in mid 2016. The Ningbo Supply Chain Innovation Institute of China (NSIIC), MIT’s 6th research centre for Transportation and Logistics, will offer different training options for executives as well as master and doctoral programs. The first postgraduate students will commence their studies in 2017. The degrees will follow MIT’s Supply Chain Management Program and students will be granted degrees in Engineering in Logistics.
