First Research Centre in China for University of Sydney
The University of Sydney has established its first major research facility outside of Australia at Suzhou Industrial Park. The newly opened University of Sydney Centre will provide a base for the University’s staff in China to work collaboratively with their Chinese counterparts on work placements, internships, and exchange learning opportunities for both countries, while at the same time becoming the headquarters for hosting research seminars, conferences and conventions. It also aims to become a learning hub for collaborative programs with Chinese universities, as well as institutions and the higher education industry, thereby strengthening intellectual and creative exchanges between researchers, academics and students.
