China Higher EdChina Encourages BRICS to Enhance Online Education
During a recent conference, government officials from the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) signed an agreement with the 22 universities falling under the umbrella of the BRICS Online Education Alliance to enhance the level of collaboration and sustainability. The conference was held in Zhengzhou, Henan and 11 Chinese universities were included in the agreement: Beijing Normal University, Jilin University, the North-East Forestry University, Fudan University, Hehai University, Zhejiang University, China Central S&T, Hunan University, South-western University, Sichuan University, and the Northern China University of Water Resources and Electric Power.
