Australia’s Griffith University and Huawei Sign MoU

Australia’s Griffith University signed an MoU with Chinese telecom equipment manufacturer Huawei last week with the aim to collaborate on a number of R&D projects, as well as provide opportunities for undergraduate students to travel to China as part of Huawei’s annual China Exchange program. The MoU covers a range of collaborative opportunities for Huawei and Griffith, including joint publications and applications for research grants and research centre funding. This is the Chinese company’s fourth collaboration with an Australian university; Huawei has existing relationships with Macquarie University, RMIT and the University of Melbourne.
