15 Chinese Universities Assigned to Produce Talents in International Law

The Qualification and Post-graduate Education Bureau of the Ministry of Education (MOE), in conjunction with the Ministry of Justice, issued a list of hand-picked, geographically balanced Chinese universities deemed worthy of training talented students of International Law. The list contains three types of universities: 1) universities with a historical legal focus (China University of Political Science and Law (UPSL), Huadong UPSL, Shanghai UPSL, Southwestern UPSL, Northwestern UPSL and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law); 2) top tier universities such as Tsinghua, Peking, Jilin, Wuhan and Sun Yat-sen Universities; 3) Universities with strong International Trade studies (University of International Business and Economics and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies). Each university has been given a 30-40 person recruitment “quota” for this special area of study.
