Practical Cross-Cultural Communication for Home-based Staff

Most of us are aware of various theories about how to approach cultural challenges when dealing with international students, but how many of us are able to successfully apply them in our daily work?

Dr. Fiona Swee-Lin Price, a veteran in cultural diversity management and an award-winning public speaker with many years’ experience in helping staff and students will share her practical approach for various positions and working levels. Please note this webinar focuses on cultural diversity management issues in general (including Chinese culture), but is not only about Chinese culture.

Cecilia Fan will also share her insights into navigating through the Chinese culture, focusing on how to hold effective meetings and what to expect when negotiating and will summarise the most common communication/cultural mistakes.
