First Chinese Universities R&D Exhibition

Huizhou, in Guangdong province, hosted the very first Chinese university R&D Exhibition last month. As well as 291 Chinese universities, 10 overseas universities also participated: Cornell University, the University of California Los Angeles, the University of Connecticut, the University of Western Ontario, Oxford University, the University of Cambridge, Aston University, the University of Surrey, the University of Waterloo, and the University of Western Australia. The exhibition is part of the Ministry of Science and Technology’s (MoST) “Blue Touch Project”, which aims to commercialize the R&D results from universities. Following the exhibition, under the slogan of “good technology always finds good enterprises”, a Tech Road Show was organized in the Zhujiang River Delta area with over 700 local enterprises attending.
