National Science Centre to be Established in Beijing

Beijing’s Huairou district will soon be home to China’s most comprehensive science centre. A plan recently approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Science and Technology, shows that by 2030 the science centre will be made up of world-class science and technology infrastructure, and research and development platforms. The centre aims to attract top talents and will focus on the areas of material science, space science, atmospheric environmental science, earth science, information and intelligence and life sciences.
