China-UK Association for the Humanities in Higher Education Launched in Shanghai

Initiated by Tsinghua University, and made up of a total of 12 Chinese and UK universities, the China-UK Association for the Humanities in Higher Education was launched in Shanghai at the end of last year. The universities involved in the Association include three mainland Chinese universities, one Hong Kong university and nine UK universities: Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Peking University, Wuhan University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, University of Oxford, Needham Research Institute, University of Cambridge, School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, King’s College London, University of Reading, University of Manchester and University of Warwick. The Association aims to enhance exchanges amongst members in fields such as arts, sports, language and culture, joint programs as well as bilateral and multilateral collaborations in debates, workshops, joint research, study tours, summer camps.
