More Chinese Graduates Opting to Start Their Own Businesses

An increasing number of university graduates are choosing to start their own businesses, according to the 2014 Chinese College Graduates’ Employment Annual Report from MyCos, an education consulting and research institute in Beijing. The percentage of self-employed graduates increased for the third consecutive year in 2014, with 2.3 percent of students starting their own business. The survey also found that the average salary for self-employed graduates was higher than for those who are not.
