Nankai University Develops Mind-controlled Car

Nankai University in Tianjin in partnership with Great Wall Motors has developed a car controlled completely by thought. Unveiled this month, the car is controlled by a headset with 16 sensors that transmit brain impulses to the car’s processing system. A representative of Nankai University told reporters that while the sensor technology is ready for use, improvements will need to be made to the car’s electronic system to make it safe, reliable and user-friendly enough for commercial production.
