Students Involved in Academic Misconduct Disqualified From Postgrad Scholarships

Chinese students that have been involved in academic misconduct will be disqualified from receiving national postgraduate scholarships, according to a joint statement released by China’s MOE and Ministry of Finance last week. The national postgraduate scholarship program was established in September 2012 to incentivize scientific study and academic research among postgraduate students. Around 45,000 students receive the RMB20,000-30,000 scholarship each year.
