Saskatchewan and China’s Jilin and Guangdong Provinces Forge New Partnerships
Earlier this week, two bilateral province-to-province agreements were signed between Canada’s Saskatchewan province and China’s Jilin and Guangdong provinces. The agreement with Jilin recognizes the 30 year partnership between the two provinces and renews research, educational and university exchange relationships. The second arrangement forges a new partnership between Saskatchewan and Guangdong in the field of post-secondary research, science and technology and collaborations in innovation. The University of Saskatchewan and Jinan University also signed several agreements exploring opportunities to cooperate in academic, research and scholarly endeavours in fields of mutual interest.
